News Letter September 2016
So here we are, officially in autumn already. The perfect time to go for a walk along the beach and then drop into the Clubhouse for a beer …
The boat yard is filling up; many of the boats are now out of the water. Any of the non-sailing members who have never seen the process required to get the boats out of the Alt may find it fascinating, and occasionally amusing, to watch. There is a list of the dates when boats are being hauled out on the Clubhouse notice board.

The subject should ideally be sailing, boats or the sea and photos should be recent (taken within the last year).
Ideally an A4 copy should be sent as well for display and judging in the clubhouse. These can be left in an envelope behind the bar with Julie or passed directly to me.
The competition closes on October 30th.
The trophy will be awarded at the Prize Giving Dinner on Saturday 12th November which will no doubt be a good evening with a very nice menu (see the Commodores report in the minutes below). Tickets are £17.50
Before that we have the RNLI Fish and Chip Quiz on Saturday 8th October.
If anyone has anything they would like to see in the newsletter, let me know.
