We have had another film crew down at the BSC Clubhouse and at the boatyard. The last occasion was for a fantastic short film called Break starring John Hurt. This film, I think, has Bill Nighy starring in it.
We have known all along that it is a fantastic place, now it appears other people think so too.
The last boats are out now I believe.
I watched with interest a couple of our members preparing to retrieve one of the last boats out on November 5th in quite windy conditions, one of those occasions that you wish you had a better camera / lens with you…
The Christmas Party on Saturday 16th December will be the next Social Event but let’s not forget that the AGM takes place on Sunday the 3rd December.
